  • Teaching Opportunities
The Society of Senior Scholars joins Continuing Education and the CSU Honors Program in offering opportunities for retired faculty members to teach for the University and Fort Collins educational communities.
  • Retirement Resource
The Society serves as a clearing-house for resources and opportunities on retirement planning, retirement benefits options, and trends or changes in official University retirement policies and development.
  • Social - Community Building
The Society will inform and notify members of campus and community social events and opportunities to participate in classes, seminars, field trips, and other special Senior Scholars activities.
  • Mentor
Associate and interact with emergent faculty in matters of teaching, research, grants, scholarly articles, and other areas through the Society. By doing so, you will provide useful guidance and encouragement to new faculty on policies, procedures, and functions at all levels of the University.
  • Service
Act as an advocate for the University and its role in society through Senior Scholars. With permission from the University Administration, you may write publication articles to media relations, meet with legislators to pursue University agendas, assist with undergraduate and graduate recruitment, and host community forums to discuss the array of University activities and resources available.
