Veterinary Medicine Online

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is pleased to offer online continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians. This program consists of a series of courses on a variety of contemporary veterinary topics. Each course represents the online equivalent of at least one on-site CE instruction, and thus is the equivalent of one or more veterinary CE credit.

How it Works

Most courses are clustered into larger topic areas and some offer multiple CE credit hours. You may enroll in one or more courses and choose from any of the topics. Some courses may have prerequisites. Browse available courses »

Continuing Education (CE) Credits

One CE credit of online veterinary continuing education is the equivalent of one hour of on-site CE instruction. We recommend you verify with your state licensing agency, prior to enrollment, that our online continuing education courses are acceptable for CE credit. We currently do not offer online veterinary courses for academic credit.

At the end of each course, you will be able to print your own certificate of completion. This and your registration receipt provide proof of your participation to your state licensing agency.

Tuition (Cost)

Each CE credit costs $50. If a course is offered for more than 1 CE credit, each credit will be $40. For example, Plants Causing "Sudden Death" is a 2-credit course and costs $80.

Accreditation

We recommend that professionals wanting to apply these online CE credits toward licensure first verify that online CE is acceptable in their state.

Instructor Interaction

After registering and logging into RamCT, you can contact the instructor directly via email. Instructors strive to answer questions in a timely manner.
