How to Pay

Colorado State University offers several payment options. Payment inquiries should be directed to Student Financial Services at (970) 491-6321.

Online

Log in to RamWeb and click on "Pay Your Bill" to submit payment by:

  • CASHNet SmartPay - Credit Cards only (MasterCard, Amex, Discover)
    A 2.9% convenience fee is assessed at the time of payment.
  • Web Cashier - using your personal checking account
    No service fee will be assessed.

Phone – Credit Cards only (MasterCard, Amex, Discover)

Call CASHNet/SmartPay at (866) 517-5570. Be prepared with your CSUID number and PIN number. PIN numbers are created online under the "Pay Your Bill" link on RamWeb.

A 2.9% convenience fee is assessed at the time of payment.

The Cashier's Office is located on the main floor of the Lory Student Center on the Colorado State University campus. Map

Office Hours: Monday – Wednesday and Friday: 8 am – 4 pm, Thursday: 8:30 am – 4 pm

Payments made online are reflected on your account within one hour. Payments (not made online) processed before 2 pm are reflected on your University student account the following business day. Payments processed after 2 pm are reflected on your University student account in two business days.

The University assesses a 1.5% per month late charge on any past due amount to encourage prompt payment. Late payments or a failure to pay tuition or fees results in an "academic hold" on future registrations, grades, and requests for diplomas and official transcripts. Delinquent accounts are submitted to a collection agency.

Checks not accepted by the bank for any reason are charged the penalty allowed by state law. Currently the return check fee is $17.
