Degree Requirements and Plan of Study
This is a professional degree program (Plan C); therefore, you are not required to complete a thesis, final project, or comprehensive final examination. Transfer credits are not accepted.
The distance MBA program can be completed in either a 2-year (21 month) plan or a 4-year plan. The 2-year plan requires you to take two courses concurrently, while the 4-year plan required you to take only one course at a time. Both programs require courses to be taken in the summer.

The following tutorials are intended to help you learn new skill sets or to brush up on skills that have become rusty. An MBA program is, by nature, very quantitative. It is common to struggle in these classes; these tutorials and those soon to be introduced will increase your opportunity to be successful in the MBA program. Take these tutorials now and be ready for your classes!
- BUS 690B – Contemporary Issues in Business - Accounting Tutorial (1 cr.)
Students enrolling in BUS 615 will find this tutorial helpful. - BUS 690B – Contemporary Issues in Business - Excel Tutorial (1 cr.)
The Excel tutorial is designed for the beginner up through the intermediate user and closely follows the Excel requirements in the MBA program. - BUS 690B – Contemporary Issues in Business - Finance Tutorial (1 cr.)
Students enrolling in BUS 640 or BUS 641 will find this tutorial beneficial. - BUS 690B – Contemporary Issues in Business - Quantitative Methods Tutorial (1 cr.)
Students enrolling in many of the MBA courses beginning with BUS 621 will find this tutorial valuable.
Students will not be allowed to register for a class without the appropriate prerequisites.
Degree at a Glance
Delivery
DVD "Live" Recording, from the on-campus Professional MBA program, with an online component. On-campus attendance is not required to complete this program.

$620 per credit

Time Frame
Can be completed in a 2-year or 4-year plan of study. Summer courses are required for both plans. If the program is started in the spring semester then the program length will be increased by a full semester, or approximately four months.

What You Will Earn
You will earn the same regionally accredited Colorado State University degree that a student on the Fort Collins campus is awarded. Your diploma and transcript are identical to those given to on-campus students.
