Early childhood care and education programs, youth services organizations, long-term care centers, and Head Start programs have hired past graduates. You are also prepared for earning an advanced degree in a field such as counseling or behavioral sciences.
There are many benefits to the HDFS online program at CSU. These courses allow me to balance being a mom to two sons, a Head Start teacher, and a college student. I feel the courses are well paced and organized for students with busy lifestyles! I chose to take classes through CSU Continuing Education because I loved the idea that there is particular support from mentors for Head Start teachers who would like to further their education and career.
