The Learning Experience
You will have your own timeline for completing this graduate degree. For distance students, your prior experience indicates it depends on your motivation, the availability of certain required courses in the appropriate semester, job and family responsibilities, and perhaps financial considerations. There is a 10-year statute of limitations for applicable coursework used toward the degree. Full-time on-campus students generally take three semesters and one summer for performing an internship; however, this timeline will vary by individual student.
This online degree permits you to take the required courses in the order that best suits your needs. You have the flexibility to get the degree you want without a strict timeline or schedule of completing the courses. Although this degree offers flexibility, it still requires the same amount of work and time as an on-campus program. It is recommended to spend nine to twelve hours per week on a three-credit course. This will vary depending on your learning and studying style.
This online program offers short presentation and lectures that often are followed up with assignments and readings. You will have the opportunity to participate in discussion board conversations with professors and fellow students as well as have contact with professors through email and online office hours.
This master’s degree in Agricultural Extension Education gives you accessibility to Colorado State faculty that are industry experts without you having to come to the CSU campus. The Agricultural Extension program is not offered at most universities and via this online degree, you have a unique program available to you.
