STAT 301 - Introduction to Statistical Methods

MATH 117 (College Algebra in Context I) or MATH 118 (College Algebra in Context II) or MATH 124 (Logarithmic and Exponential Function) or MATH 125 (Numerical Trigonometry) or MATH 126 (Analytic Trigonometry) or MATH 141 (Calculus in Management Sciences) or MATH 155 (Calculus for Biological Scientists I) or MATH 160 (Calculus for Physical Scientists I).

Description

Techniques in statistical inference; confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, correlation and regression, analysis of variance, chi-square tests.

Credit allowed for only one course: STAT 301, STAT 307/ERHS 307, STAT 311 or STAT 315.
