Delivery/Location: Online
This course contains three parts. First, the multi-level promotion model for school and community health and welfare will be discussed, and a school/community participatory approach will be introduced and practiced.
Second, health behaviors and key welfare concerns will be presented respectively. Prevalence, antecedents (and risk factors) of these behaviors and concerns will be surveyed, followed by the review of empirically-derived preventive strategies.
Finally, personnel strategies related to people who are involved in schools and community health and welfare promotion such as selection, performance management, training and career development, and retention will be reviewed.
