POLS 437 - American Security Policy

This course was previously numbered PO 437.

This course will examine national security doctrine and the use of military forces to achieve national goals. The course is being updated with information on the role of the Homeland Security Council and the newly formed Department of Homeland Security. We?ll examine WMD and how the US is responding to their threats. Additionally, we?ll examine some of the implications of the recent completed Iraqi Freedom operation on US security policy.
