This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University.

A recent Coloradoan newspaper headline noted: "PUSH ON TO CREATE FUEL ALTERNATIVES." Participants in this class will learn about local clean energy research, development, and implementation in the context of local and world perspectives. Sessions will be held at various Fort Collins locations, chosen to showcase specific clean energy research areas, and will include brief presentations, tours, and group discussions.

Facilitating Entity: The Northern Colorado Clean Energy Cluster is a business-led, project-oriented group of regional partners that seeks to have a global impact. Through collaboration, the Cluster intends to position Northern Colorado as the "Go To" region for smart grid technologies, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and cleaner, more efficient engines.

Participating members of the Cluster include - Woodward Governor, Spirae, Inc., and Enginuity; faculty and researchers from Colorado State University; the Governor's Office of Energy Management, Larimer County, the City of Fort Collins, and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation. New Belgium Brewing Company and Poudre School District as end-users are also involved.
