OSHR 1320 - Use the Power of Writing to Leave a Legacy (Short Course)

Noncredit

Delivery/Location: Off-Campus

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

This course offers you an opportunity to examine and write your personal values, beliefs, life turning points and perhaps words of wisdom, creating a written record for the people who are most important in your lives. Writing what is often referred to as an ethical will can be as important as any material possession, but is often forgotten or put aside while we consult with our legal advisors when putting our finances and health care wishes in order.

We will reflect on our individual life experiences, learning to put into writing what we have found to be most valuable to us. Through this process, you will create a personal document in your own words and form, a legacy you can leave for your children, grandchildren, and other family members.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
