This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University.
For each of the following topics, instructor will provide fundamental conceptual background, current research findings, and practice applications.
Topics will include:
- Connection between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Modern Chinese Medical Practice,
- Mind and Body Connection,
- Brush Writing and Its Impact on Health,
- Tea Culture and Its Impact on Health,
- Introduction to the Use of Natural Herbs,
- Acupuncture and Acupressure for Self-Help.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.

Dr. Ping Dou is a native of Beijing. After earning her physician's degree, she practiced medicine in Beijing's Friendship Hospital as a neurologist before coming to the United States. She has lived in Fort Collins for the past 22 years and served as a research scientist in neurosciences at Colorado State University.
