Kirk Hallahan, a Colorado State faculty member since 1996, brings 19 years of professional experience and a keen interest in online communications to the web version of this popular Colorado State course. His professional experience includes agency, corporate and trade association public relations. He was named 1988 Professional of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America Los Angeles Chapter and has won awards for professional campaigns he has supervised, including a coveted Silver Anvil presented by the Public Relations Society of America. He is an accredited member of PRSA and was elected to its prestigious College of Fellows in 1995. He holds a Ph.D. in mass communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
