This is a beginning course in the concepts and tools of database management. Microsoft Access 2002 or 2003 can be used to reinforce database concepts. Students create tables and queries, develop forms, create basic reports and modify the structure of a table.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.

Mike Hanna is an instructor in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Colorado State University. He has been teaching for 32 years at the high school, community college, and university levels. Mike began working with computers in 1966. He is currently teaching faculty members how to put their courses on the Internet as well as freshman- and junior-level courses in computer applications.
