The "NORA Symposium 2008: Public Market for Ideas and Partnerships" will be held in Denver on July 29, 2008. The University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center will be a co-sponsor. The Symposium in Denver will be accompanied by a parallel NORA virtual conference on the internet.
The goal of these events is to provide an open forum to facilitate effective communication about the importance of past and future work and opportunities for collaboration and partnerships to achieve impact in the workplace.
Limited student scholarships are available to cover registration costs for the NORA Symposium 2008 for full time students in the following occupational health and safety related fields:
- Occupational Medicine
- Occupational health nursing
- Industrial Hygiene
- Ergonomics
- Occupational Health psychology
- Health Physics
- Safety engineering
- Occupational Health Epidemiology Students
- MPH Students conducting Occupational Health Research
