Prerequisite

HDFS 101 (Individual and Family Development) or HDFS 175 (Developmental Psychology Across the Life Span) or PSY 100 (General Psychology) or PSY 260 (Child Psychology).

Description

This course addresses developmental issues and processes pertaining to middle and later adulthood. Particularly emphasized are the following points: (a) adult development and aging occurs in a variety of contexts, and (b) these varying contexts set the stage for considerable inter-individual differences in adult development and aging.
