HDFS 101 (Individual and Family Development) or PSY 100 (General Psychology).

Description

What are children like at different ages? How does their way of thinking change or remain unchanged as they grow older? What kinds of issues are especially important to children of different ages? How do researchers study children? This course will address these questions, providing an overview of major topics in the field of Child Development.
Physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development, from conception through middle childhood in context of family, relationships, and culture. 3 exams, 2 observation assignments.
