Dr. Karen Kaminski has been teaching for the Master's of Adult Education and Training for ten years. Her expertise is in instructional design and development including face-to-face and distance learning. She has supported faculty for over fifteen years in preparing to teach via distance technologies.

Jeff joins the Adult Education and Training faculty after twenty years as an outdoor educator and twenty years in emergency services. Jeff is a mountain guide and experiential educator; he has worked in the field and served as the director for Outward Bound and the Outdoor Leadership Program at Colorado Mountain College. Many of Jeff’s research and publications center around developing learning outcomes and learning assessment of students engaged in experiential education.

Jeff also serves as the Director of Emergency Management in Lake County, Colorado. Jeff’s emergency services work centers around emergency management, fire, emergency medical response, hazardous materials response, special operations, and search and rescue

Jeff has a Ph.D. from the Community College Leadership Program in the School of Education at Colorado State University. Jeff graduated from the Adult Education and Training program in 2001. He has come back to instruct in this program because of the impact and success this program has helped him achieve.
