Delivery/Location: Fort Collins
This workshop explores different methods of achieving color on metal using nontoxic patinas, gesso, and colored pencil. While no experience is necessary, these processes are most beneficial to those who have pieces of small-scale metalwork that can be finished in such a manner. Students are required to create a series of sample pieces using these different techniques.
Materials needed: sketchbook, PrismaColor pencils, and small- to medium-sized paintbrush.
A $20 materials fee will cover all metal needed for samples.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
Important Information
Course meets Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. There will be a lunch break on Saturday; bringing a sack lunch is advised.
