Seed Analysis Training Online Certificate Program

Seed analysis is a technical skill requiring patience, attention to detail and a scientific understanding of seed biology applied in a laboratory environment. The Society of Commercial Seed Technologists (SCST) determines the requirements for becoming a Registered Seed Technologist. Registered technologists work in private and commercial labs.

Certified Seed Analysts (CSA) work in State and Federal laboratories and their certification process is determined and administered by the Association of Official Seed Analysts (AOSA). Course work is usually followed by two years of on-the-job training in a seed laboratory.

Approved Courses

The Seed Analysis Training program is a series of courses designed to help students to qualify for work in seed laboratories and prepare them to successfully complete qualifying examinations.
