The seven-module program follows the guidelines from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which also awards designations for Project Management Professionals (PMP®).
- Module 1 - Framework and Integration (3 class sessions)
Get the skills necessary to integrate and apply the concepts presented in this series, using a customized case study. - Module 2 - Scope Management (2 class sessions)
This module reviews the basic project scope management processes:- Scope Planning

- Project Plan Development
- Ethics & Professionalism
- Module 3 - Cost and Time Management (4 class sessions)
Find out how to develop and calculate schedules using PERT/CPM techniques. Also covered are techniques for estimating, budgeting, monitoring, and analyzing costs and the basics of earned-value. - Module 4 - Human Resources/Communications (2 class sessions)
We will explore the various leadership styles, ways to build high-performance teams, innovative methods to resolve conflict, effective motivation concepts, and communication techniques. - Module 5 - Quality Management (2 class sessions)
Discover how quality planning, assurance, and control concepts integrate with project management practices to create a system for implementing quality management at the process and project levels. - Module 6 - Risk Management (3 class sessions)
Learn to take a proactive approach to threat and opportunity, based on a clear understanding of the powerful nature of both qualitative and quantitative approaches. - Module 7 - Contracts and Procurement (2 class sessions)
Gain an overview of all phases of contracting, including requirements development, solicitation, administration, and closeout. Select the right types of contracts for your project. - Program Project
Throughout the program, you will complete a project that integrates and applies lessons from each unit. By the time you graduate, your resulting work is a portfolio piece that demonstrates your competency as a Project Manager.
