Applied Statistics and Data Analysis Certificate
This comprehensive training program in applied statistics and data analysis uses modern software and is intended for professionals and graduate students who want a short-term program to strengthen their statistical skills.
Program Requirements
The program requires a moderate math background including two semesters of college-level calculus. Students must earn a minimum 2.75 GPA overall with no individual grade less than a C.
Courses already taken by distance through the statistics department at Colorado State University can be applied to this certificate. Please note that we do not accept transfer courses toward this certificate.
Program Curriculum
Studies include an introduction to probability and statistical theory, a two-term sequence on data analysis, and additional training in spatial analysis, environmental statistics, process control and quality improvement, and/or regression.
