Certificate Overview

This certificate program is a great fit for you if you are a fire and emergency services professional and you want to increase your knowledge and skills as a manager, leader, and administrator in a fire and emergency service organization. With this five-course certificate, you will learn the critical concepts and evolving requirements of emergency services. These skills will prepare you to perform administrative and managerial duties in fire and emergency service organizations.

Fire and Emergency Services Administration

This program is ideal for working professionals who are not in a position to pursue a bachelor's degree, already have a bachelor's degree, or who want to acquire transferable college credit for later application towards a bachelor's degree in fire and emergency services administration. If you want to get your education started by completing the certificate, you can then apply all five courses toward the Fire and Emergency Services Administration undergraduate degree completion program.

Certificate at a Glance

Delivery

DVD and Online. Courses use a combination of DVD lectures supported by online resources. On-campus attendance is not required.

Total Credits

15 credits

Tuition

$280 per credit. All courses require the purchase of textbooks. Some courses require the purchase of a DVD lecture set.

Time Frame

Can be completed in three semesters. Completion of certificate varies based on the number of credits completed each semester.

What You Will Earn

Upon completion of this series of courses with passing grades, you earn a Certificate of Completion. Individual courses, but not the certificate, will appear on your official University transcript.
