Taking Care of Other People and Not Just Yourself: Lessons Learned from Family Caregiving Research
Dr. Christine Fruhauf, Department of Human Development & Family Studies

This presentation will focus on current research surrounding informal family caregiving issues. Greater attention will be given to understanding the research addressing youth and young adults who provide care and the impact this has on their lives. Suggestions for future research and practice will be provided.

Brain research shows how music as a language of thinking in sound is deeply embedded into the neural structure of the brain. Furthermore, the evidence is strong that the early human brain was an artful one from its appearance in the pre-historical record. We may conclude that the artfulness and musicality of the human brain may actually have been the foundation for the emergence of the modern human mind.

Accelerating Hope: Cancer Research Initiatives at CSU and the Supercluster Strategy
