Posted Tuesday, October 6, 2009
Most of us never lose our desire to learn. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute provides the opportunity for adults over 50 to take courses without prerequisites, tests, degree requirements, and stress.
It's not too late to join the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute this fall! The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Colorado State University is a unique learning community for adults aged 50 and better that offers the very best in continuing education. Designed to challenge and inform, courses are small, engaging, interactive, and very affordable.
Osher provides continuous opportunities to seek knowledge, get together to discuss and share it, ask questions, exchange ideas, stay current, and explore new insights. Members of Osher share a common bond of intellectual curiosity and the experiences of their generation, and through their participation explore new ideas and experiences and take an active part in shaping the world around us.
"As more and more individuals enter this stage of life they seek creative ways to remain intellectually active and involved," said Jean Morgenweck, co-director of the Osher Program at Colorado State. "Many individuals 50 years and better want to learn for the pure joy of learning and this is a wonderful opportunity for Continuing Education to bring a vibrant program to the Fort Collins community."
