O*NET OnLine is a website that allows you to match your skills and the current demand for jobs with an occupation that is right for you.
O*Net OnLine is a great tool that takes your current skills and helps you find out how that skill-set can be transferred to a variety of occupations. The database is maintained by the Department of Labor and includes information about job positions in various industries. You can use keywords to find matching occupations as well as enter your skills and see what positions fit best.
This website will also show the occupations that are currently in the highest demand so you can take the necessary steps to become skilled in that industry. By searching for high-demand careers you may come across something that interests you and the only thing you may be missing is additional education.
