Frequently Asked Questions
Drops and Refunds
What are the drop deadlines? Can I get a refund?
The duration of the course and the date you drop your course determine your refund.
For complete details and deadlines, review the drop and refund policies.
It is your responsibility to be familiar with the drop and refund policies of Continuing Education and the University. We recommend you review them prior to registration or dropping courses.
How do I drop a course?
If you wish to drop a course you can log into RamWeb to do so (for credit courses only), or contact DCE at registration@learn.colostate.edu requesting to drop your course. Please include your name, CSU ID (if applicable), and course(s) you wish to drop.
What if the deadline to drop falls on a weekend?
Even if the deadline to drop falls on a weekend, emails are "post-marked" with the date that it is sent. When reviewing drop requests, the date the email is sent is the date that is considered when completing a drop request for the appropriate refund.
What is a University Withdrawal?
If you wish to completely withdraw from the University (called a University Withdrawal), you must contact Continuing Education to drop your last course. You cannot drop your last course on RamWeb.
If you are an admitted degree-seeking student, we recommend you contact your advisor to determine your future course of action and how a University Withdrawal will impact your program of study, academic requirements, and readmittance to your program should you decide to complete your degree at a later time.
