Through Colorado State's multifaceted missions of research, teaching, service, extension and engagement along with our historic land-grant mission and purpose, we continue to enhance our state, regional, national and international communities. President Penley has made educational outreach a priority for CSU, and we believe that the more we wisely use and support higher education, the more it can be an excellent catalyst for positive growth in all aspects of our society.

As an integral part of Colorado State University's Outreach team, the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) provides individuals of all ages and stages of life access to this vibrant community of university scholars, researchers, and teachers. With CSU's well-established reputation for translating the latest research into action through classes, programs, technology transfer, and organizational applications, DCE delivers exciting, challenging, and value-added learning events to local and global communities.

The Division of Continuing Education is committed to building and enhancing active engagement and collaboration with our public and private sector partners and with our Colorado higher educational colleagues. In our commitment to serve all Colorado residents and our rapidly expanding worldwide distance education body of students, DCE strives to bring new technologies and innovations to our courses and programs. This includes convenient on-site locations, web portals, and online distance learning platforms.

CSU and the Division of Continuing Education recognize that lifelong education, available both locally and globally, is in all of our interests. The quality of our personal, organizational, and community lives is created and renewed upon the foundation of continuous learning. Continuous education expands our opportunities, provides new knowledge and understanding of our immediate surroundings, and grounds us in the immensity of a global community.
